Rain Causes Rt. 47 to Close

Heavy rain last night and throughout this morning has caused all southbound lanes of Route 47 to close near the ramps to the Garden State Parkway according to the New Jersey DOT.

We are currently in a lull in the action as the low moves off the Delmarva coast. Once it does though more rain will form. We will see periods of rain throughout tonight and tomorrow. Some isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight as some warm air moves in above us.

Philadelphia has lost a legend in the passing of Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas. Phillies broadcasts will never be the same. Rest in peace Harry and God Bless his family.

Spring Showers This Evening

It feels like spring. It looks like spring. Now it's going to act like spring. The temperatures and southeast winds may fuel a few showers or thundershowers. Wind gusts up to 30 mph, and maybe some small hail or a little lightning may accompany the storms. If any storms with lightning or thunder approach your area please head inside as lightning is one of nature's #1 killers.

After the showers tonight, the winds will begin to pick up. A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for all South Jersey counties from 4am to 10am tomorrow. Winds could get up towards 50mph. Hold on to your hats!

I will be out to about 9pm and then I will try to get you an updated video and 7-Day.
