Storms with Heavy Rain Today

Scattered thunderstorms are located currently throughout South Jersey and to the south in Delaware and Maryland. They are generally moving NE. Very heavy rain will accompany these storms. Flash flooding may occur in low lying areas and generally any place that floods during heavy rain. If you encounter any flooded roads turn around, don't drown. FLOOD ADVISORIES are in effect for ATLANTIC and CAPE MAY counties UNTIL 3:00PM. Gusty winds and cloud to ground lightning are also possible with any stronger storms. These scattered storms with heavy rain should continue into tonight and early tomorrow morning.
